Barbara
Ferrier Welcomes You To The
Better Dog Days Project
Celebrating animal rescue through art and story
telling.
Barbara’s interest in rescued animals was
literally brought home to her when her husband found a dog starving
in the desert sagebrush. The golden lab weighed only 29 lbs. (Today
she is a healthy 50 lbs!) Barbara and Stuart named their dog Mosey
because Stuart found her 10 miles from Moses Lake, Washington and
because she ‘moseyed’ into their lives.
With these greeting cards, Barbara hopes to bring awareness to the
value of rescued animals and share their life stories.
Dogs
& Their Stories
"I invite you to read the life stories of the fortunate
dogs in these pages. And I hope you'll learn, as I have, how vulnerable
and wonderful these animals are. It is my hope that by increasing
the awareness of the plight of abandoned dogs, more people will
think of rescue organizations first when choosing to adopt a new
animal companion."
